O museu digital CONSERVAS DE PORTUGAL apresenta o trabalho de investigação da história da indústria conserveira em Portugal, uma iniciativa do CAN THE CAN desde 2012.
Queremos preservar a memória, contar a história da indústria conserveira nacional e dessa forma homenagear todos os que trabalharam nesta indústria.
Este projecto tem como missão investigar, estudar, proteger e preservar o património material e imaterial de todos os temas e áreas relacionadas com a indústria conserveira e – através desse trabalho – contribuir para promover e divulgar a sua incrível história.
Pretendemos que o projecto CONSERVAS DE PORTUGAL seja uma plataforma cultural, aberta a todos, tornando-se uma referência internacional no âmbito da temática da indústria conserveira e do mar.
Um projecto sem fins lucrativos, que é alimentado pelo esforço de diversos colaboradores, privados e institucionais, a quem prestamos o nosso agradecimento.

The CONSERVAS DE PORTUGAL digital museum presents the research work on the history of the canning industry in Portugal, a CAN THE CAN initiative since 2012.
We want to preserve the memory, tell the story of the national canning industry and thus pay homage to everyone who worked in this industry.
This project’s mission consists in investigate, study, protect and preserve the material and immaterial heritage of all topics and areas related to the canning industry and – through this work – contribute to promote and disseminate its incredible history.
We intend that the CONSERVAS DE PORTUGAL project to be a cultural platform, open to all, becoming an international reference in the context of the canning industry.
