Parallelamente aos lados do losango lê-se “Marca registada – Lisboa – Pará”. 2º Na cinta para as mesmas caixas constituida por quatro rectangulos, com tarjas ligeiramente ornamentadas, separados uns dos outros alternadamente por uma ancora ou pelo monogramma, constituido por “E. P. A. & C. “. Em dois ods rectangulos lê-se “Preparada exclusivamente para E. Pinto Alves & Cª – Pará – E. U, do Brazil, no terceiro lê-se “Sardinhas em azeite italiano – (Portugal), e no ultimo “Sardinhas escolhidas.” Destinada a sardinha em azeite.

On the lid of the boxes, the upper part displays in decorative type the words “Sardinhas Pinto Alves”, and below, “Fabrico especial” (special production) on a wavy ribbon, followed by “em azeite superior” (in superior olive oil). In the lower left corner, there is a lozenge with the monogram “E.P.A.”, topped by a crown and flanked on the left by “&” and on the right by “C.”. Along the sides of the lozenge appears the wording “Marca registada – Lisboa – Pará”.
On the band for the same boxes, consisting of four rectangles with slightly ornamented borders, alternately separated by an anchor or the monogram “E.P.A. & C.”. In two of the rectangles it reads: “Preparada exclusivamente para E. Pinto Alves & Cª – Pará – E. U. do Brazil”, in the third: “Sardinhas em azeite italiano – (Portugal)”, and in the last: “Sardinhas escolhidas.”
